VISCARA MEDIA
Service Agreement
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Your quote sets out the work and price. This agreement explains how Viscara Media delivers it and sits alongside our Terms of Service. Review these documents before agreeing to paid work.
The work
We provide the services described in your accepted quote. Timings, deliverables, revision allowance, any deposit, recurring charges and required ongoing services should all be confirmed before work starts. Additional work and its price require your agreement.
What we need
Provide accurate business information, photographs and other materials you are allowed to use, plus proportionate access to the relevant accounts. Do not send unnecessary personal data or passwords in ordinary messages. We discuss any effect of missing information or feedback on delivery dates.
Website design and approval
Agree an overall colour and design direction, then provide your photos and business details. We update the project stage as the build progresses. You review the complete website before launch, with consolidated feedback within your quote’s revision allowance. Separate approval of every internal page is not required unless agreed. Social posts are shared for approval before publication.
Ownership and permission to use
Viscara Media retains ownership of the website design, source code and the tools used to build it, except for client-owned materials and third-party components. The client receives permission to use the finished website for their own business under the agreed managed service; paying a build fee does not transfer ownership or include a source-code handover. Changes are provided under an active paid plan within its scope, or for a separately agreed fee. Client-provided photographs, logos and business content remain the client’s property or their licensors’ property.
Hosting, domains and changes
Your quote sets out domain registration, registrant details, renewal costs, hosting and any transfer arrangements. Existing client-owned domains remain client-owned. Cancelling a care plan after a fully paid build leaves the site online as it is under the agreed hosting arrangement, but ends included changes and backups. Further changes require an active paid plan or a separate quote. Website ownership and source-code transfer are not included.
Payment and cancellation
Pay by the method and date shown on your invoice. Recurring plans renew at the frequency and price disclosed before purchase.
You can request cancellation of a monthly plan from billing controls, where available, or by emailing info@viscaramedia.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and stops renewal; no additional 30-day notice is required. Access continues for that paid period unless you request otherwise. Any entitlement to an earlier cancellation or refund under applicable law is preserved.
For a one-off project, contact us as soon as you want to cancel. We account for work actually performed and reasonable, unavoidable costs agreed for your project, and return any unused balance where due. We explain the calculation. Payment of a deposit does not remove rights to a remedy for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered services.
Materials and portfolio
You retain ownership of your materials, subject to any third-party rights. Give us permission to use them only as necessary to provide the agreed services. Confirm that photos, logos, reviews and other supplied content are accurate and properly licensed. We ask permission before using your project or identity in our portfolio.
Information handled for your business
Where we process personal information on your behalf, the processing roles, instructions, confidentiality, security, subprocessors, assistance with individual rights and return/deletion arrangements need to be set out in an appropriate data-processing agreement before that processing starts. This general agreement is not a substitute for that arrangement.
Results and responsibility
We do not guarantee a Google position, number of enquiries, sales or followers. Third-party platforms control their own services and account decisions. Tell us if our work does not meet the agreed scope so we can investigate and address it.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees and cancellation rights. Where those rights require a repair, repeat performance, price reduction, cancellation or refund, they take priority over our commercial policy.
Questions and changes
Contact info@viscaramedia.com. Material changes to an existing order require agreement; publishing a new website document does not retrospectively change it. Applicable mandatory law and available legal remedies remain in place.
